Lyestra WellbrightKaldorei WarriorPlayer's OverviewLyestra is nearly 900 years old, the exact count of her age having been purposefully forgotten. Family tradition states that women are priests and men are warriors (a "tradition" that started when her father absolutely failed at being a druid). She told her parents that said tradition could go right to hell*. She wanted to be a hunter**, like her best friend Jakara, but ended up on the warrior path to partially appease her parents.
She was a decent fighter but never rose high in the ranks due in large part to persistant issues with authority. For much of her career she was with Colddusk, a specialty unit that performed...odd tasks. They lovingly, and knowingly, called themselves "the decoys". She was greviously injured at Hyjal*** and was given a medical discharge.
Once she was able to fight again Lyestra joined a mercenary company called Malakim. Here she met Shakta, a crazy elf who would become her good friend in introduce her to her eventual husband, Bernard "Hazard" Wellbright. Together with those two and her bastard half-sister Jamethera, she forged a family that served as her support network after she was disowned by her parents****.
In recent times she left Malakim to persue more personal objectives. Both her best friend Jakara and her wayward husband returned to her life as Death Knights, which has swung her support firmly to the cause of the Ebon Blade. This also brought her in contact with Vyree, a draenei priestess who has formed an unofficial acceptance movement. Currently she serves as a weapons master of sorts, giving some of the more befuddled death knights that Vyree collects under her care much needed instruction and discipline~.
